Pear Chutney
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe
Bartlett pears, chopped
- ¼ tsp. Cloves
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 2 medium cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp. Water
- 1 tsp. slivered almonds
- 2 tsp. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
Instructions:
In a
pot, bring all ingredients except vinegar to a boil. Reduce heat,
cover pot & simmer until pears are tender. Add vinegar & simmer for 5
minutes. Chutney can be prepared ahead of time and stored, covered in
the refrigerator.
