Chili Spaghetti
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, minced
- ½ lb. ground turkey
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin, ground
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 10oz can kidney beans drained
- 1 16 oz can chopped tomatoes, drained
- ¼ cup tomato juice
- 1 lb. Spaghetti
Instructions:
In a large skillet, heat oil. Add onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add ground beef or turkey, and sauté for about 5 minutes or until browned. Drain fat. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, kidney beans, chopped tomatoes and reserved liquid or juice. Simmer covered for 15 minutes. While simmering cook pasta as directed on package. Drain. Top spaghetti with chili.
