Apple Cranberry Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium apples (cored, peeled & sliced)
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½tsp. cinnamon

Topping:

  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ cup dry oatmeal
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. ginger
  • ½tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. Vegetable oil (olive oil used, veg. Oil not in data base)
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

Makes 8 servings

Instructions:

To prepare topping, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, ginger and nutmeg. Add oil and honey and mix well to make coarse crumbs. In a large bowl, combine apples, cranberries, sugar & cinnamon. Put apple-cranberry mixture into a 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle topping evenly over filling. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 1 hour. Serve warm.
